Your Guide for Driving Sales Executive Summit & Digital Dealer

You made the decision to lock down your week (or most of it) attending automotive conferences. Whether you are the boss or have a boss, there has to be a reason for going, outside of a few good meals and drinks. That is where networking and learning come in!

But we all face the music when we being to look at online schedules and get the 758,391 emails and texts asking for ‘a few minutes to chat’ or ‘grab some time with you.’ That is why I wanted to take some time and put together some of my ‘must-see’ sessions and events. These sessions cover a range of topics and will most likely (I haven’t seen the decks, but I know the quality of the people) give you valuable insights to take back to your stores and groups. Additionally, my Keynote to Watch For is Tuesday afternoon on Improving Diversity & Inclusion in our industry. That is a panel you CANNOT MISS!

Things I would do before going to Driving Sales Executive Summit and Digital Dealer:

  1. Bring paper. Computers/iPhones only cause distractions that prohibit learning

  2. Create a deck template. This will make it easier to get started communicating back to your teams what you learned.

  3. Get rest. The temptation is to stay out late. Resist as much as possible. In any case, get rest this week (before you go). You will thank me.

  4. Drink water. I know. Silly. But you will be walking around and talking a lot. Keep the convos going through the week by being hydrated.

  5. Have fun. This may seem simple, but what are we doing here if we can’t enjoy this beautiful life.

  6. Watch the sunrise. Trust me.
